Salmon and Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs salmon fillet
  •   salt
  •   pepper
  •   olive oil
  • 1 lb asparagus (15-20 spears, depending on size)
  • 1/4 cup water
  •   lemon (if desired)

Preparation

Place salmon in a baking dish. Season with salt, pepper. slice the lemon and lay over the salmon, drizzle olive oil generously. Bake 12-15 minutes at 400°F.

Meanwhile, trim asparagus in 1-2 layers and place in deep microwave-safe dish with a bit of water at the bottom. Cover, but leave a little vent, you can use a plate or bowl for this. Microwave 2-4 minutes on high.
